In fact, world’s best surfers set their sights on Siargao for the 14th Siargao International Surfing Cup.

This tear-drop shaped island in the Philippine Sea has been the center of focus by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte and branded beach wears (Billabong) for promoting the island and sponsoring the competition for several years.

See the famous “Cloud 9″, is a right-breaking reef wave and one of the best known surfing waves on Siargao and the Philippines, with a worldwide reputation for thick, hollow tubes is “Cloud 9″. This is the site of the annual Siargao Cup, a domestic and international surfing competition sponsored by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte.
